When I arrived here at Aichi University of Education, I was invited to attend a party by the international center. So on 10/3/2010, I walked to a park by the school. Next to the school is this humongous lake with really neat views. When I arrived, I paid the 500 yen cost which meant I could now eat and drink as much as I wanted. There was a lot of very good food, I even got to try some vegetables, they fried, that I have never tried before. All of the people there were all nice and the little kids running around were very funny. After a while, all of the foreign exchange students, including myself, got to play various games under this dome like structure. We would stand in a circle and listen to the lady in the center before each game so we knew how to play it correctly. My skills at using chopsticks are getting really good, which is an awesome feeling for me. Also, I really had fun getting to practice talking in Japanese with the people I sat next to. Overall, this event was really fun and I am glad I got to participate as well as have gotten to try a lot of the delicious food and drink they had there.
